The cross quality is better than I expected. The back is smooth & there is a little weight to it. Nice!! I purchased it for my husband's birthday & he absolutely loves it. Please note that the chain does NOT have a clasp, it slips over your head. It hung lower then he liked so we change it out with a short-chain so you can see it with his shirt unbuttoned. (top 2 buttons)
